Tsunami Honganji Vihara is a recently built Buddhist temple that locates in Hikkaduwa. Built by the Japanese government to commemorate the Tsunami disaster in 2004, the temple has incredible design elements inspired by the Japanese Buddhism architecture style. The giant standing Buddha statue is one of the top highlights of the temple.
