Pahiyangala Cave or Pahiyan Lena is one of the most significant prehistoric archaeological sites in Sri Lanka. According to archaeologists these caves had been inhabited by prehistoric cavemen 37,000 years ago and is considered to be the most ancient pre-historic settlement in Asia.
